PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We have disabled most of the tracking within Squarespace (Activity Log, Analytics Cookies), but there are some data we collect in order for the site to run as intended for you, the user. You can read the documentation on that data here: Functional and Required Cookies. Note that Squarespace analyzes all data in a de-personalized form.

When you browse the Site we collect information about the individual web pages that you view in order to deliver you the best experience. For example, we remember if you dismissed an announcement bar so that you do not continue to get the same pop-up over and over again.

Squarespace uses font files from Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts. To properly display this site to you, servers where the font files are stored may receive personal information about you, including information about your browser, network, or device, and/or your IP address.

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we do collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number). We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

As you go through checkout flow, this site may auto-complete your billing address by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you. This is to improve and simplify the checkout experience.

We do have forms and other opt-in features enabled on the site. We use those to populate our talent database and distribute relevant outbound communications. You can have your data removed at any time, no questions asked, by reaching out to us here: hello+data@rainorshinerecruiting.com.

Note: we have not and will not purchase any outside data for use here or anywhere (e.g. sales or marketing lists).

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We will use the Order Information that we collect to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to: communicate with you; screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

When it comes to the Personal Information you submit to us via forms or other opt-in methods (e.g. newsletter subscription) we use that to better deliver you the content you have requested, such as relevant job opportunities or Rain or Shine professional development tips.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not share your Personal Information with third parties. We do not use outside analytics providers or fulfillment services. There is no one outside of our company who will have access to your Personal Information or Order Information.

We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

As of now, we are only working with talent and clients in the United States. However, if you are a European resident, you have the right under GDPR to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

CHANGES
